Responsibilities
This Registered Nurse (RN) role at Beebe Healthcare requires an experienced, clinically competent professional with specialized expertise in perioperative care. As a perioperative nurse, you will provide top-tier surgical care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Safely administering and dispensing medications per established guidelines.
Competency in intravenous (IV) line insertion and use of LIS lab and Invision systems.
Managing perioperative equipment and supplies efficiently.
Providing comprehensive patient care during surgery, including airway assessment, O2 therapy, and ventilator management.
Cardiac monitoring using Philips Cardiac Monitor and managing PA lines such as Swan-Ganz.
You will also be responsible for specimen collection and processing following physician orders and delivering these samples accurately to the laboratory. This role requires the ability to utilize critical thinking, prioritization, and time management skills in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications
Must possess current hospital experience (within the past 5 years) or be a new graduate (within the last 2 years).
Prefer minimum of 1 year recent PACU or Critical Care experience.
Must complete Point of Care Testing training as part of Department Orientation.
ust be knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application--assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
At time of hire, we ask that you either have a current active PALS certification or obtain PALS Certification within the first 6 months of hire.
Emergency Department and/or Critical Care Experience is preferred.
