We care for patients with acute life threatening conditions. Care includes children with trauma, transplant, neurological disorders, as well as children suffering from a broad range of critical medical disorders. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience required, preferrably with an ICU background, as well as CRRT, ECMO, or advanced trauma and/or neuro skill. Peds experience is highly preferred.
This position will work in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.
Education
Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)
Certifications
Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association or obtain within within 60 days of employment. (Required)
