Position Summary
The Allergy and Immunology Clinic at Phoenix Children’s is seeking a PA/NP to join our team of professionals in providing evidence-based patient care with excellence. We currently see patients at the Main Campus and additionally in East Valley and Southwest Valley locations with plans to grow in the Northwest Valley. With the sizable population of Phoenix, Arizona, the practice is busy and growing. The PA/NP will have the opportunity to see new and return patients with allergic diseases including food allergy, allergic rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, and primary immunodeficiency in a supportive environment. Other roles include supervising oral food challenges and drug challenges, oral immunotherapy, developing and maintaining protocols/guidelines, and participating in research efforts.
This position works in collaboration with the attending physicians and works within their scope of practice to provide excellent clinical care for patients. Plays a critical role in the patient family medical team. Professional who may practice in hospital’s inpatient and/or outpatient setting.
Education
Master's or Doctorate degree from an Accreditation Commission for Nursing (ACEN) and/or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited graduate school of nursing in Pediatric Acute care, Pediatric primary care or Family Medicine OR Master's degree from nationally accredited ARC-PA program. (Required)
Certifications
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association or obtained by start date. (Required)
Current State of Arizona certification as a Nurse Practitioner OR Current State of Arizona certification as a Physician Assistant or obtained by start date. (Required)
National board certification to match area of education OR maintain certificate in National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA). (Required)
